Music For Bars on tour

In collaboration with Slagwerk Den Haag and Club Guy & Roni's Poetic Disasters Club, Faegre's new project Music for Bars begins a 10-bar tour around the Netherlands this Autumn. The production is a 60-minute amplification of sonic, physical, and social elements of The Bar, featuring 3 percussionists and 3 dancers who explore and break the boundaries of "normal". Bow Hammer Connection Trailer

One Page Project @ Cello Biënalle

The Cello Biënalle Amsterdam has commissioned new pieces from Brendan Faegre, Pete Harden, Hilary Jeffery, Genevieve Murphy, and Martijn Padding exploring the possibilities of a composition limited to one sheet of paper. Transcendance Video

Video is now available of the David Kweksilber Big Band performing Transcendance at the Bimhuis. The performance features virtuosic tap-dancing by Peter Kuit, and mini-solos by Guus Janssen, JanWillem van der Ham, Felicity Provan, Wiek Hijmans, Joost Buis, and Rutger van Otterloo. Bow Hammer Connection @ November Music

November Music has commissioned a new work from Faegre titled Dance Suite in G, with movements based around contemporary dance forms (Dubstep, Drum 'n' Bass, Acid House). The work will be premiered as part of a new project called "Bow Hammer Connection", featuring Isa Goldschmeding as violinist, Micha de Kanter as sound designer, and Faegre as composer/drummer.
