How we move through the dark

HOW WE MOVE THROUGH THE DARK is a dance piece created by American choreographer Lea Ved as part of a residency with Club Guy & Roni.  This evocative new creation explores the tension between isolation and connection, the fragility of darkness, and the unseen forces that guide us.  Inspired by the surreal poetry of midnight landscapes, the piece blends contemporary dance with an intuitive, improvisational edge—leaving space for mystery, urgency, and human tenderness.

I worked on the team as composer, musician, and producer, creating a 30-minute soundtrack using electronics, synthesizers, piano, strings, voice, guitars, and percussion.

The work premieres at the Korzo Theater in The Hague on 18 May.
