Village Storm

VILLAGE STORM is a dance piece created by Lunatics & Poets as part of Club Guy & Roni Invites 2025. Inspired by Louise Glück’s collection ‘A Village Life’ and philosopher René Girard’s theories about ‘borrowed’ desires and our yearning for imitating those we admire, the work gives a penetrating portrait about how desire plays a role in our daily lives and how it affects our identity.

I worked on the team as composer, musician, and producer, creating a 30-minute soundtrack using field recordings, electronics, synthesizers, guitars, upright bass, and percussion.

The work is currently doing a 20-show tour throughout The Netherlands.
